Visitor Center
The Chamber of Commerce operates a Visitor Center at 33 North Second Street in Rio Vista. Visitor Center hours are Tuesday through Fr from 10 AM to 1 PM. Hours increase each year as it gets close to the time for the Bass Derby & Festival (the biggest event in Rio Vista each year). At the Center visitors and locals can find information about local businesses and activities, as well as ask for member referrals. Bass Derby & Festival merchandise is available for purchase as is a boater’s map of the Delta. Member businesses are welcome to provide their information (business cards, flyers, brochures) for display at the Center.

Community Outreach
In order to make other localities aware of activities, businesses and events in Rio Vista, the Chamber pursues a number of outreach activities, including active social media postings. We regularly provide information to the Delta Life, Discover Rio Vista, Discover Solano and Discover Lodi publications. We also keep in touch with other Chambers of Commerce in the area. Each January we host a booth at the Sportsmen’s Expo at the Cal Expo fairgrounds. There, over a period of 5 days, we hand out hundreds of bags of literature provided by our members and participate in numerous conversations promoting our town and businesses. Locally, we provide bags filled with information to new residents, including in the Trilogy and Liberty Island communities.

Government Representation
The Chamber’s Executive Director, Board President, and other Board members regularly represent the Chamber and the interests of its members at City Council and other city and county meetings as required. We keep in regular touch with our local, state and federal representatives to keep abreast of issues that may affect our community.

Our members enjoy access to a strong network of like-minded entrepreneurs, professionals, and decision-makers committed to advancing business interests.
